Account deletion
You can delete your Meetapper account and the data associated with it at any time. The fastest way is to do it directly in the app. If you no longer have access to it, write to us and we'll delete the account for you.
Deleting your account in the app

Open Meetapper and go to Settings The settings section is located in your profile.

Select "More", then tap "Delete account"

Confirm by typing DELETE in the text field This is a safeguard against accidentally deleting your account.

Tap "Delete account" Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you are logged out.
What happens to your data
Permanently deleted
- Account and login data
- Profile: name, username and profile picture
- Friends, invitations and friend groups
- Availability statuses
- Photos you added to your checks
- Notification settings and tokens
What remains
Checks you created, and chats you took part in, will remain available to the
other participants. In place of your name and profile, an anonymous
"Deleted user" appears, but the messages and photos you sent in those conversations
remain as part of them.
Deleting your account is permanent and immediate. There is no grace period and no way to restore the account once it has been deleted.
Don't have access to the app?
If you can't log in to the app, send a request to delete your account from the email address associated with the account. We'll verify your identity and delete the account along with its data, usually within 30 days.
